The Fraser Music Studio was established in Epping in 1972 as a piano and theory specialist studio by Pauline Fraser, having been previously established in Manly in 1942 and then Canowindra and Griffith. Pauline sadly passed away, however she passed along her passion for music and theory to her two daughters and granddaughter who are honoured to continue the musical family tradition.
We are proud to celebrate three generations of piano and theory teaching.
We encourage all students to enjoy their music, to play a wide variety of musical styles and to work towards developing their music potential. We believe in encouraging your child’s creative development in all aspects of their musical journey.
We specialise in piano and theory teaching for children from 4 years of age up to senior citizens in private lessons. We have students who learn for pleasure and others who combine a program of fun pieces with an examination program.
To supplement the private piano tuition we conduct musicianship/theory classes for students who learn piano at our studio. These classes are conducted in small groups, 6-10 children. These classes are optional however we encourage our students to participate when it is appropriate for them in their stage of musical development.
We also provide private theory tuition for our piano students and students from other studios.
The Studio has an open door policy with regards to parents who wish to attend their child’s lesson. We understand this may not be possible for all parents and we will contact you whenever necessary regarding your child’s progress.
